The Hagerman Fossil Beds are fascinating and worth a quick stop if you are interested in seeing some marine fossils. The Hagerman Visitor Center is the perfect place to learn more about the history here, and you can even see many of the fossils here, such as the saber-toothed cat and the ground sloth. 

4. Miracle and Banbury Hot Springs

Along the way from Boise ID to Salt Lake City UT, you will definitely want to stop at Miracle and Banbury Hot Springs. Relax in the naturally heated mineral water in the general pool, or book a private pool for a more romantic time with your spouse.
